FEEL
BACK
For when you feel disconnected or numb
IN YOUR BODY
What the sessions support
You might notice moments where your body feels distant, or harder to sense clearly.
During periods of ongoing stress or mental load, the brain may focus more on what is happening around you. When this happens, internal signals can become quieter or more difficult to sense.
Over time, this may feel like a sense of disconnection from the body. Sensations can feel faint, unclear, or only noticeable when they become more intense.
These sessions are designed to gently support your awareness of the body, helping you reconnect with sensation, breath, and movement in a way that feels steady and manageable.
With repeated sessions, people often begin to notice:
A greater awareness of internal signals and body sensations
A deeper connection to breath, movement, and physical presence
A softening of feelings of disconnection or numbness
A stronger sense of grounding in the present moment
A more integrated connection between mind and body
CURATED SESSIONS
Aaram: Somatic Yoga and Meditation for Inner Calm
Aaram means rest, ease, and comfort—a name that reflects the heart of this practice. Through gentle somatic yoga, breathwork, and meditation, you are invited to soften tension, listen inward, and discover a more comfortable way of being in your body. Immersive music, gentle vibration, calming visuals, and soft light accompany the closing relaxation, creating space to rest and reconnect with a sense of inner calm.
The Experience
Aaram invites you to turn your attention inward and move at a pace that allows you to notice how you feel. Through simple breathwork and gentle somatic yoga, you explore movement guided by sensation, comfort, and awareness.
Each session weaves movement with contemplative meditation. Depending on the class, practices may draw inspiration from Vipassana’s observation of present-moment experience, Heartfulness meditation, Rumi’s wisdom, or the soothing rhythm of So-Ham mantra meditation.
The experience closes with restorative instrumental music and gentle vibroacoustic relaxation in the dome, giving you time to rest and absorb the practice.
Sensory Technology
Sensorium’s dome adds a sensory dimension to the closing relaxation:
Immersive music: Restorative instrumental sound surrounds you, offering a gentle focus for listening and rest.
Vibroacoustics: Low-frequency sound is experienced as gentle vibration through the body, adding a tactile element to the music.
Calming visuals and light: Soft lighting and soothing imagery create an atmosphere designed for quiet attention and relaxation.
Together, these elements offer several ways to engage with the experience—through sound, sensation, and sight.
The Science
Research suggests that yoga and mindfulness practices can help reduce perceived stress and support mental and emotional well-being. Relaxation practices involving gentle breathing and focused attention can also encourage the body’s relaxation response—a state associated with slower breathing and a reduced heart rate.
Aaram brings these approaches together through opportunities to notice your breath, explore bodily sensations, and return your attention to the present. The practice encourages awareness of tension and ease, helping you become more familiar with what calm feels like in your own body.
Outcome
Aaram is designed to support a quieter mind, less physical tension, and a grounded sense of inner connection. You may leave feeling calmer, centred, and refreshed, with simple breathing and awareness practices you can return to during everyday moments of stress.
Ideal for anyone seeking a gentle practice that makes room for both movement and rest.
Deep Reset — Live Sound Immersion
A deeply immersive, live sound experience designed to help you release accumulated stress and tension, supporting your nervous system in downshifting into a calm, regulated state.
The Experience
The experience begins before you enter the dome. In the open space of Sensorium, you are guided through a gentle arrival, often a breath practice or body scan, to help you transition out of the external world and into your body.
This opening acts as a reset point. Attention shifts inward, the pace slows, and the nervous system begins to settle, preparing you to receive the experience more deeply.
From here, you enter the dome and are guided into stillness. Live instruments begin to unfold, layered, responsive, and attuned to the energy of the room. Low-frequency vibrations are also felt through the floor. Sound moves not just around you, but through you, creating a deeply felt experience that evolves moment by moment.
As the session deepens, the body begins to release held tension. The mind quiets. Many people drift into a dreamlike state, somewhere between waking and rest, where the body feels heavy, supported, and at ease.
Because the sound is live, no two sessions are exactly the same. Each experience creates a unique pathway towards helping you release, regulate, and reset.
Sensory Technology
- Guided Opening Protocols: Breathwork or body-based awareness practices prepare the nervous system for deeper reception
- Live Sound Instrumentation: Real-time instruments (e.g., bowls, chimes, tonal textures) create a responsive, evolving sound field
- Spatial Audio Integration: Live sound is enhanced within a 3D auditory environment, surrounding the body and guiding attention inward
- Vibroacoustic Support: Low-frequency vibration felt through the floor grounds the experience in the body and supports physical release
- Soft Light Environment: Minimal, calming light reduces sensory load and supports down-regulation
- Dome Acoustics: The enclosed geometry allows sound to be experienced spatially and physically, not just audibly
The Science
- State Transitioning (Ritual Entry): Guided breath and body awareness help shift the nervous system out of external vigilance and into internal regulation
- Auditory Entrainment: Layered, rhythmic sound can guide the brain toward slower states associated with relaxation and reduced mental activity
- Parasympathetic Activation: Slow, immersive sensory environments support a shift into “rest and regulate” states
- Vibroacoustic Relaxation: Low-frequency vibration stimulates the body, helping release muscular tension and reduce stress
- Reduced Cognitive Load: Minimal visual and task-based input allows the brain to disengage from overthinking and settle
Outcome
- A noticeable release of physical and emotional tension
- A quieter, more settled mind
- A deep sense of relaxation without effort
- A feeling of being grounded and present in the body
- A sense of reset, like starting fresh
Neural Imprint
Neural Imprint is a creative, body-led experience that translates your internal state into visual form. Through movement, mark-making, and immersive sensory support, it bypasses the analytical mind, allowing emotion, intuition, and sensation to be expressed directly and physically.
The Experience
Neural Imprint begins by shifting you out of thinking and into sensing. Through guided prompts and immersive sound, you are invited to move and create without overanalyzing, allowing your body to lead the process.
As you engage with materials, your gestures become more instinctive. Lines, shapes, and textures begin to emerge, not as planned outcomes, but as reflections of what is happening internally.
There is no right way to create here. The process is raw, immediate, and personal. Many people experience moments of surprise, where something unspoken or unrecognized takes form on the surface in front of them.
By the end, what remains is both a release and a record, a physical imprint of a moment of connection with your inner world.
Sensory Technology
Neural Imprint combines creative expression with Sensorium’s immersive environment to deepen access to internal states:
Body-Led Creative Interface: Materials and surfaces designed to respond to gesture, pressure, and movement
Immersive Audio: Evolving music that reduce cognitive control and support intuitive expression
Vibroacoustic Feedback: Subtle vibration grounds awareness in the body, enhancing sensory-motor connection
Dynamic Light Environment: Light shifts support emotional tone and perceptual openness
Dome Immersion: A contained, distraction-free space that encourages uninhibited exploration
Together, these elements create a bridge between internal sensation and external expression.
The Science
Neural Imprint is informed by research across neuroscience, creativity, and embodied cognition:
Motor Expression & Emotion: Movement and gesture are directly linked to emotional processing, allowing internal states to be expressed without language
Reduced Prefrontal Control: Creative, non-linear tasks decrease activity in analytical brain regions, supporting access to subconscious material
Sensory-Motor Integration: Coordinating movement with perception strengthens the connection between brain and body
Externalization of Internal States: Translating internal experience into physical form can support clarity, processing, and integration
This process enables a shift from internal ambiguity → visible, embodied insight.
Outcome
After a session, you may feel:
A sense of emotional release and clarity
Increased connection to intuition and internal signals
New insight into thoughts or feelings that were previously unclear
A deeper sense of self-expression and authenticity
A tangible visual artifact that reflects their internal state
Over time, Neural Imprint may support greater self-awareness, creative confidence, and the ability to access and express internal experiences more freely.
NeuroSync — Body Awareness
NeuroSync is an immersive neuro-sensory experience designed to help you reconnect with your body by synchronizing brain and physiological rhythms. Through structured sound, vibration, and light, it quiets mental noise and brings awareness back into sensation, restoring a clear, grounded connection to yourself.
The Experience
NeuroSync begins by gently drawing attention away from the constant activity of the mind. As sound begins to move through the space, your awareness is guided, not outward, but inward.
You may first notice the breath, then subtle sensations in the body, areas of tension, warmth, or release. The combination of sound and vibration creates a felt sense of rhythm that the body begins to follow.
Over time, thinking softens and sensing becomes more dominant. Many people experience a shift from being “in their head” to being fully in their body, present, grounded, and aware.
By the end of the session, there is often a feeling of coherence, not just calm, but a sense that mind and body are working together again.
Sensory Technology
NeuroSync uses structured sensory input to restore connection between brain and body:
Spatial Audio (Guided Sound Movement): Sound is designed to direct attention inward and support sensory awareness
Vibroacoustic Resonance: Low-frequency vibration is felt through the body, anchoring awareness in physical sensation
Dynamic Chromotherapy: Light transitions support shifts in attention and help reduce cognitive dominance
Dome Immersion: The enclosed 360° environment minimizes distraction and enhances internal focus
Together, these elements create a multi-sensory bridge between perception and sensation.
The Science
NeuroSync is grounded in research on interoception, sensory integration, and nervous system regulation:
Interoceptive Awareness: Bringing attention to internal bodily signals improves emotional regulation and self-awareness
Sensory Integration: Coordinated multi-sensory input helps the brain better map and interpret signals from the body
Brain–Body Synchronization: Rhythmic sensory input can align neural and physiological processes, supporting coherence
Reduction of Cognitive Load: When external structure is provided, the brain reduces overthinking and allows sensory processing to come forward
This supports a shift from cognitive dominance → embodied awareness.
Outcome
After a NeuroSync session, you may feel:
A stronger connection to their body and internal signals
Reduced mental overactivity and increased presence
Greater awareness of breath and sensation
A feeling of grounding and stability
A sense of alignment between mind and body
Over time, NeuroSync may support improved self-awareness, emotional regulation, and the ability to stay connected to the body even in stressful or demanding situations.
Restorative Yoga + Live Sound Bath
A gentle, fully supported practice designed to release tension and guide the body into deep rest. Through restorative postures and live sound, this experience helps quiet the mind, soften the body, and support nervous system regulation without effort.
The Experience
This is a slow, easeful practice centered around stillness and support. You are guided into comfortable, fully supported restorative postures—held for longer periods—allowing the body to soften without strain.
As you settle into each position, live sound fills the space with soothing tones and subtle vibrations. The combination invites your attention inward, supporting a sense of grounding and inner listening.
There is no pushing, no intensity, only an invitation to rest. Optional gentle touch may be offered, enhancing the feeling of care and safety.
Over time, the body unwinds, the breath deepens, and the mind begins to quiet, creating space for true restoration.
Sensory Technology
This experience blends traditional restorative practices with Sensorium’s immersive environment:
Supported Restorative Postures: Props such as bolsters, blankets, and mats fully support the body, allowing muscles to release without effort
Live Sound Healing: Instruments and tonal layers create a real-time, responsive sound field that supports relaxation and presence
Spatial Sound Environment: Sound moves through the dome, enhancing immersion and helping attention settle
Subtle Vibroacoustic Support: Gentle vibration reinforces grounding and body awareness
Soft Light Environment: Low, calming light reduces stimulation and supports parasympathetic activation
Together, these elements create a container of support where the body can fully let go.
The Science
This session draws on research in restorative yoga, sound therapy, and nervous system regulation:
Parasympathetic Activation: Supported postures held over time stimulate the body’s “rest and digest” response, reducing stress and tension
Muscle & Fascia Release: When the body is fully supported, it can release chronic holding patterns without effort
Sound & Brainwave Regulation: Soothing frequencies can slow brain activity and guide the mind into relaxed, meditative states
Sensory Safety Signals: Gentle, predictable input (sound, touch, light) helps reduce threat perception and supports emotional regulation
Rather than requiring effort, this practice works by creating the conditions for the body to naturally restore itself.
Outcome
After a session, you may feel:
A deep sense of calm and relaxation
Reduced physical tension and discomfort
A quieter, less active mind
Improved emotional balance
A feeling of being supported, grounded, and restored
Over time, this practice may support improved stress recovery, better sleep, and a more consistent ability to access states of rest and ease.
Return to Center
Return to Center is a trauma-informed humming meditation practice designed to regulate the nervous system through sound, vibration, and gentle, intentional hand movement.
Rooted in neuroscience and polyvagal-informed principles, this session uses humming, hand gestures, and stillness to support vagal tone, enhance interoceptive awareness, and guide the body into a state of balance and coherence. The consistent use of sound and rhythm creates a steady internal anchor, helping you settle, organize, and reconnect with a felt sense of centre. This session is led by Dorota Hedzelek, Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), eligible for reimbursement under extended health benefits.
The Experience
Return to Centre unfolds in three guided phases, designed to gradually bring the system into coherence without force.
Resonant Humming (Activation & Regulation)
You begin seated, eyes closed, producing a steady, continuous hum. The vibration travels through the chest, throat, and head, creating a direct internal sensory experience.
There is no need to control the breath. Over time, breath and sound begin to synchronize naturally. The rhythm is consistent and unforced, allowing the nervous system to settle through repetition and vibration.
Hand Movement Sequence (Distribution & Integration)
While maintaining internal awareness, slow, repetitive hand and arm movements are introduced. These gestures are simple and cyclical, coordinated with your internal rhythm.
One sequence supports outward expression and orientation. The other supports inward gathering and self-contact.
This phase helps distribute the effects of vibration through the body while reinforcing a sense of agency, containment, and internal organization.
Stillness & Rest (Settling & Centering)
You transition into stillness, either seated or lying down. Attention remains internal as the body absorbs the effects of sound and movement.
There is nothing to do here. The system begins to quieten on its own. Many people notice a sense of internal alignment, clarity, or grounded presence emerging without effort.
Integration
The final phase takes place inside the dome.
You settle into stillness while immersed in spatialized sound, gentle vibroacoustic resonance, and soft light with nature-based visuals. This environment supports the nervous system in stabilizing and deepening the state of regulation established during the practice.
This phase allows the experience to fully integrate, shifting from active regulation into sustained coherence.
Sensory Technology
Return to Centre combines internally generated vibration (humming) with Sensorium’s immersive integration environment:
- Resonant Humming (Internal Vibration): Self-generated sound stimulates internal sensory pathways and vagal tone
- Guided Gesture Sequences: Simple, repetitive movements reinforce internal rhythm and somatic organization
- Custom Minimal Sound Design (Activation Phase): Subtle audio supports pacing without overriding internal sensation
- Spatialized Soundscapes (Integration Phase): Inside the dome, immersive audio supports continued regulation and coherence
- Vibroacoustic Platform: Low-frequency vibration grounds the body and reinforces internal stillness
- Gentle Light & Nature Visuals: Low-stimulation visuals support safety, orientation, and settling
- Dome Environment: A predictable, contained space that allows the system to stabilize and integrate
Together, these create a progression from internally generated regulation → externally supported integration.
The Science
Return to Centre is grounded in neuroscience, vagal regulation, and interoceptive awareness:
- Vagus Nerve Stimulation Through Humming: Vocalization—especially humming—creates vibration in the throat and chest that stimulates the vagus nerve, supporting parasympathetic activation
- Resonance & Rhythmic Regulation: Repetitive sound and movement create predictable patterns that help the nervous system organize and stabilize
- Interoception: Focusing on internal vibration and sensation increases awareness of bodily states, a key mechanism in emotional regulation
- Sensorimotor Integration: Coordinating sound, movement, and awareness strengthens communication between brain and body
- Polyvagal Regulation: The combination of vocalization, rhythm, and safe, predictable sequencing supports a shift toward ventral vagal states associated with safety and connection
This supports a progression of internal activation → distribution → settling → coherence.
Outcome
What this practice supports:
- Regulation of the nervous system through vibration and breath
- Increased vagal tone and parasympathetic activation
- Enhanced body awareness and internal tracking
- A sense of grounding, coherence, and emotional steadiness
- Gentle processing without overwhelm
All instructions are invitational and adaptable. You remain in control of your pace, volume, and range of movement at all times. Silence, rest, or modification are always valid options.
Sopio – Neuroacoustic Experience for Deep Relaxation
A deeply immersive neuroacoustic experience designed to help slow mental activity, reduce sensory load, and guide the body toward a quieter, more restorative state.
The Experience
Sopio is a sensory, eyes-closed experience inside the Sensorium dome. There is nothing to perform, follow, or achieve.
You’ll settle into a comfortable resting position as the environment gradually shifts around you through sound, vibration, light, and immersive sensory cues.
The composition unfolds slowly, with spacious pacing and minimal cognitive demand. Rather than asking you to focus or actively meditate, Sopio is designed to give the nervous system fewer things to respond to, creating the conditions for attention to soften and the body to become increasingly still.
As the experience progresses, the soundscape becomes more spacious and subdued, encouraging a gradual transition from alertness toward deep rest.
You may remain fully awake, drift in and out of awareness, or enter the light transitional state that often occurs just before sleep. There is no “right” way to experience it.
Sensory Technology
Sopio uses Sensorium’s immersive environment as one integrated sensory composition.
- Neuroacoustic sound uses slow-moving musical structures, gentle rhythmic patterns, sustained tones, and carefully controlled changes in intensity to reduce cognitive demand and support a progressively quieter listening state.
- Spatial audio surrounds the body with sound, creating a sense of depth and immersion without requiring you to actively track where the sound is coming from.
- Vibroacoustics translate low-frequency sound into gentle physical vibration, allowing the experience to be felt through the body as well as heard.
- Slow amplitude modulation creates subtle rises and falls in sound and vibration, adding a predictable rhythmic quality that can support settling without becoming stimulating.
- Low-intensity immersive lighting and visuals minimize visual demand and help create an environment that feels contained, spacious, and conducive to rest.
Together, these technologies create a multisensory experience designed around one principle: progressively reducing the amount of effort your nervous system needs to make.
The Science
Deep relaxation is not simply the absence of activity. It involves a shift in physiological and attentional state.
When the brain is processing fewer novel or demanding stimuli, attentional networks can become less externally focused. Slow, predictable sensory input may also reduce the need for constant orienting and monitoring of the environment.
Music can influence arousal through several pathways, including changes in breathing, emotional processing, attention, and autonomic activity. Slower tempos, predictable patterns, reduced musical complexity, and gradual changes in intensity are generally more conducive to relaxation than abrupt or highly stimulating sound.
Vibroacoustic stimulation adds a tactile component. Low-frequency vibration is perceived through mechanoreceptors in the body and can provide steady, rhythmic sensory input. Emerging research suggests vibroacoustic approaches may support relaxation, perceived tension reduction, and aspects of autonomic regulation, although responses vary between individuals and the field is still developing.
As the body becomes quieter and environmental demands decrease, brain activity may naturally begin moving away from the faster patterns associated with active engagement toward slower rhythms commonly seen during relaxation and the transition toward sleep.
Sopio is designed to support this transition rather than force it, creating sensory conditions that make deep rest easier to access.
Outcome
Sopio is designed to help you move from stimulation to stillness and from active mental processing toward deep rest.
You may leave feeling:
- Deeply relaxed
- Mentally quieter
- Less physically tense
- Less overstimulated or “switched on”
- More settled in your body
- Restored after periods of sustained cognitive or emotional demand
- Ready for sleep when experienced later in the day
- Calm and clear when experienced during the daytime
Sopio can be especially supportive when you feel mentally overloaded, physically tired but unable to fully switch off, overstimulated, or simply in need of a period where nothing is required of you.
Rather than asking you to relax, Sopio creates an environment in which relaxation can gradually emerge.
Yin Yoga & Live Sound Bath with Vibroacoustics
A slow, grounding Yin yoga practice followed by an immersive live sound bath designed to help you release physical tension, quiet mental activity, and reconnect with your body.
The Experience
Your session begins outside the dome with a brief welcome and gentle warm-up, including one round of Sun Salutation to bring movement into the body and help you arrive in the space.
You’ll then enter the Sensorium dome for a 30–40 minute Yin yoga practice. Unlike more active forms of yoga, Yin invites you to settle into supported postures for longer periods of time, reducing muscular effort and allowing the body to gradually soften.
The slower pace creates space to notice sensation, breathing, and areas where you may be holding tension without needing to push or perform.
From Yin, the experience transitions seamlessly into a live sound bath. You’ll remain resting in the dome while resonant sound, gentle vibration, and the immersive environment surround the body, creating time for stillness and integration.
Sensory Technology
Inside the Sensorium dome, the live sound bath is enhanced by Sensorium’s immersive sensory environment.
- Spatial sound surrounds you rather than coming from a single direction, creating a more enveloping listening experience.
- Vibroacoustics allow low-frequency sound to be experienced physically through the body, adding a gentle tactile dimension to the sound bath.
- Immersive lighting and visuals create a low-demand sensory environment designed to support the transition away from external stimulation and toward a quieter, more internally focused state.
Together, these elements extend the experience beyond yoga alone, allowing movement, stillness, sound, vibration, and sensory immersion to become part of one continuous practice.
The Science
Yin yoga combines prolonged, relatively still postures with slow breathing and sustained attention to bodily sensation. This slower form of practice may support a shift away from heightened activation by reducing physical and cognitive demands and encouraging greater awareness of internal bodily signals.
Longer-held postures also provide sustained mechanical input to muscles, connective tissues, joints, and sensory receptors throughout the body. Rather than repeatedly contracting and releasing the muscles, Yin encourages gradual relaxation and a reduction in unnecessary muscular effort.
Slow breathing and mindful attention can further support autonomic regulation, including processes associated with parasympathetic activity and recovery.
The sound bath adds another layer of sensory regulation. Music and predictable, non-threatening sound can influence emotional state, attention, and physiological arousal. Vibroacoustic stimulation allows low-frequency sound to also be perceived through touch and vibration, providing rhythmic sensory input that may contribute to relaxation and body awareness.
Following movement with a period of supported stillness may also give the nervous system time to integrate the sensory and physical experience rather than moving immediately back into activity.
Outcome
Yin Yoga & Live Sound Bath is designed to help you move from holding to softening and from mental activity toward embodied awareness.
You may leave feeling:
- Less physically tense or restricted
- Calmer and more settled
- More aware of and connected to your body
- Mentally quieter
- More spacious and grounded
- Restored without feeling heavily sedated
It is an especially supportive practice when your body feels tight, your mind has been highly active, or you simply need an intentional space to slow down and reconnect before moving into the rest of your day.
